European Conference on Science Journalism

As an initiative of the European Commission, through the Science and Society Unit of the Directorate General for Research, the city of Barcelona has been chosen to hold the European Conference of Science Journalism. The conference, which over two hundred journalists are expected to attend from all over the European Union, aims to revise the role of journalism in the transmission of information on science and technology matters to the general public. The conference also offers the first opportunity to project the city of Barcelona and its capacity in the area of science on an international level.
