The endless number of species in the animal world establishes a proportional number of biostructural typologies, which are corresponded to in architecture, in which we also find endless architectonic typologies, and therefore structural typologies. The exhibition aims to establish the relationship between the structure of the animal world and the architectonic world, based on the study of the various structural typologies, and where eternal discussions between function and form are often found. A series of lectures titled «Statics and Architecture», have been organized to be given by architects and engineers specialized in building structures. This exhibition is part of the cycle "Technique" which is being held throughout 2007 at the COAC.
