What is the Year of Science?

'Barcelona Science 2007' is being launched to mark the centenary of the Nobel prize for medicine awarded to the Spanish researcher Santiago Ramón y Cajal, with a wide range of activities, exhibitions and cultural displays focused on bringing the world of science closer to all kinds of people.

On this website you can find the what, where and when for the main events, whether organised as part of 'Barcelona Science 2007' or other culture initiatives which, though not included in the programme, also focus on popular science.
