Paul Dayton

Professor and researcher at the University of California, San Diego and the winner of the 1st Ramon Margalef Prize in Ecology.

Paul Dayton is an internationally-renowned leading figure in the field of ecology, as his investigations have marked the dominant trends in research the world over throughout the decades. The relevance of his work, which has made him a pioneer in 'population and community ecology' amongst aquatic, marine and terrestrial researchers, earned him the 1st Ramon Margalef Prize.
