Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee of the CAHTA is a consultative organ comprising prestigious health professionals from different medical specialities.
Its functions include the appraisal of proposals pertaining to medical technologies that need to be assessed. The Scientific Committee also assesses, from the scientific standpoint, the activities of the CAHTA. This organ is renewed every two years, in order to provide for a dynamic management. Direction

The functions of the Direction are, amongst others, to plan, schedule, direct, manage and coordinate the activities of the Agency. The director is Dr Oriol de Solà-Morales.
